Looking in device manager - the audio devices all say working OK. But on bar at bottem of screen get speaker with red cross - Playing audio - Audio trouble shouter cannot find any problems. Sound settings say - No output or Input devices found. Have tried to re-install Realtek audio drivers for motherboard - installed but no change. DisplayLink is now part of Synaptics Inc. The Company wishes to manage the installation and deployment of the Software for use by its employees and consultants. All Software is subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.1. LICENSE
Company may copy and install the Software only on equipment that is connected to products that incorporate the Devices. The Software may be used for internal use only by employees or consultants of the Company in connection with use of the Device for its intended purpose and not for any other purposes. Company shall ensure that all consultants are bound by written agreements that are consistent with the terms of this Agreement. Company is responsible for all acts and omissions of its employees and consultants in connection with this Agreement.2. RESTRICTIONS
The Company may not modify the Software and will not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software (except to the extent such activities may not be prohibited under applicable law). If the Company wishes to obtain further interface information relating to the Software to achieve interoperability and system stability, a request should be made in writing to DisplayLink. The Company may not loan, rent, lease or license the Software or any copy of the Software to a third party or operate the Software for the benefit of any third party. 3. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights in the Software and user documentation are owned by DisplayLink and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, international treaty provisions and applicable national laws. All rights not expressly granted to the Company are reserved to DisplayLink.4. DISCLAIMER
THE DEVICE AND THE SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED ’AS IS’ WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY DISPLAYLINK AND THE ENTIRE RISK OF USE REMAINS WITH YOU. NO CONDITIONS, WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY DISPLAYLINK IN RESPECT OF THE SOFTWARE AND DISPLAYLINK HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR NONINFRINGEMENT. Company may not sublicense any rights to use the Software. Company may assign all of its rights under this Agreement to a party to which it transfers the equipment incorporating the Device provided such party agrees to be bound by this Agreement. Sale of DisplayLink devices is governed by DisplayLink’s standard terms and conditions of sale. This Agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements relating thereto, written or oral, between the parties. Amendments to this Agreement must be in writing, signed by the duly authorized officers of the parties. If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver or modification of this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing signed by each party.
